Bismillaahir Rahmanir Rahim wa salaatu wa salaamu 'ala Rasoolullaah. As salaamu alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa baraka tuh. Ya Shaykh, someone was heard saying "It could have been such and such, I am not sure". On another occasion, someone said, "I could have had such and such". Are both of these statments shirk because of the "could have" part of these statments or is saying "could have", "would have", and "should have" always shirk or leading to shirk? Barak Allaahu feekum. Wa alaykum salaam wa Rahmatullaahi wa baraka tuh.

Originally posted by Hakeem-ibn-HazmI have the following two questions:

First question:

Is it correct that the kufr type mentioned in the Ahadith of Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu 'alayhe wasalam) regarding leaving off Salaah is kufr doona (minor kufr)? Some say that a person who has abandoned Salaah or neglects it, but still accepts and believes that it is obligatory does not commit kufr akbar. I would like to have the decisive, clear proof that the kufr mentioned in leaving off prayer is kufr akbar and not kufr doona (minor kufr).

Second question:

There are people who go to graves and call upon the grave occupants, but still they say the Kalima tayyiba, pray and fast etc. These people are Jahils who have been raised like this and they do not have knowledge that the act they are committing is shirk. Can such people be excused? Is there any Hujjah for them? Should we call them Mushrik or not?

Assalamu'alaikum, in the matter of tawheed al asma was sifaat can we say that ' Allah has taken me out of this problem' and other general sentences that people usually use, should these sentences be constructed with words used only ij the quran and sunnah?

I have also another question, may Allah reward the brothers and sisters and the Shuyookh ameen.

This question too is regarding 'Aqeedah:

If someone asks Allah Subhana wa Ta'ala by the status of Prophet Muhammad sallAllahu 'alayhe wasalam or by Anbiyyah or Saliheen is that regarded as Bid'ah only or is it Shirk through which one leaves the fold of Islam. I have read parts of a fatwa of the Lajnah ad Daimah online which is signed by Bin Baz and other major Shuyokh and they say that it is not Shirk akbar.

Please note, I am not asking about a person who prayes to graves or their occupants, but somebody who asks Allah, but by the status of someone.

Sorry, please note the fatwa is not signed through signature, but their name is written. I mention this so that I am free of spreading misinformation insha Allah. But i am sure that the fatwas on this issue can be found easily insha Allah.

Assalamu Aliqum Warahmat ullahi Wabarakatuh

This is a question I ask to increase my knowledge, respected sheikh. We say that Allah is genderless. What is the exact proof for that? Surah Al Ikhlas describes Allah S.W.T, but it has not been mentioned that He is genderless. I wish to request for some ayahs or hadiths which prove that exactly. May Allah bless u. (Ameen)

Salaamu Alaikum, this question was put to me and I was never asked this before. Now this is a very good question and I would like to know the answer to see if my on judgement is correct. Have the angels seen Allaah?
