How To Join Us and Start
Please Note:
- In the following description, there are some links to other parts of the forum. Insha Allah, it would be beneficial to open these links in a new window so that this page would always be available for you to refer to on how to continue.
- There are also some words related to the program and the forum which you may not be familiar with; these are described in the message titled "Definition of Some Terms" above, insha Allah
Informing Us of What You Have Memorized
This is done by submitting a message on this forum on a daily/weekly basis. Here are the steps towards doing this:
1) Register as a FORUM member here: http://www.albaseerah.org/forum/register.php. You will be prompted to confirm your registration through your email. You will be able to begin posting on the forum 24 hours after you have confirmed your registration inshaa'Allaah.
2) Create your threads: Once your forum account is activated and you are able to begion posting, then depending on what you want to work on in your memorization (Qur'aan, Hadeeth, or Mutoon (texts)), create threads here for yourself: "Al-Qur'aan al-Kareem", "Ahadeeth of Rasoolullaah (http://www.albaseerah.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=137) (sallallaahu`alayhi was-sallam)", "Al-Mutoon al-`Ilmiyyah (http://www.albaseerah.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=138)" [I would advise that you first start a thread for the Qur'aan at least, and depending on your ability, time and other factors, you may be willing to start with the other 2 as you advance with the Program.] See "How to Create a Thread" in the above message "Definition of Some Terms." A sample message for your new thread is also given above. BaarakAllahu feek.
3) Post what you have memorized: After memorizing the verse(s), hadeeth or text, submit a post in your appropriate thread. There are 3 ways you may do this:
a) Posting what you have memorized in Arabic along with a translation - this is most prefered.
b) Posting the transliteration along with the translation
c) Simply stating that you have memorized so and so verse.
