okay so I cant help but say How much I liked the quranic recitations by Maher al Moaqlee,

"MAKKAH, 12 July 2007 — The Grand Mosque in Makkah is to see two new imams, Sheikh Abdullah Awad Al-Johani and Sheikh Mahir ibn Hamad Al-Muayqali, lead regular prayers according to a royal decree issued by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah."

Since I had never been to Saudi Arabia before this summer, I havent had the oppurtunity to develop any preferences in regards to the imams that are there. I really really enjoyed listening to Maher al Moaqlee's qiraats.
