Default ? on MINOR SHIRK

Assalaamu Alaykum wa Rahmatullaahi wa Barakaatuh:

May Allaah preserve you Ya Sheikh;

It has been known to me that minor shirk does not remove one from the fold of Islaam. Is this (ijmaa') a consensus with the 'Ulamaa? I ask this because I read in Shaykh 'Uthaymeen's (Rahimahu-Allah) Sharh on Thalaathah Usool (3 Principles): It says; "Allah does not forgive shirk, but He forgives what is less than that." [An-Nisaa' 4:116] then, 'Uthaymeen said, "some of the scholars have said that this threat covers all shirk, even lesser (minor) shirk."

Also, if there is no difficulty, could you mention some of the scholars who have said this?

Please clarify O'Noble Shaykh & May Allaah Preserve you!
