Assalaamu alaikum,
According to footnotes on Ad-Durar-al Bahiyyah it says that if the water is less than 2 Qullah, then the addition of mere filth can render the water impure even if there is no change in taste, color, or scent. Is this the strongest view? (i understand that if that if the water changes its taste, color, or smell that it is impure regardless the amount, but what if the water is less than two qullahs, has impurity added to it and its characteristics don't change?) |

1. Is there a difference between pure water used to purify ourselves and other things and pure water that we can consume/drink?
2. Regarding the hadeeth forbidding urinating in still water, can the shaykh explain more why this cannot be used as daleel for still water becoming impure even if one of its state does not change? |

1. If the water from ones bath has changed one of it's 3 states, is it still permissible to use it to pure over the one afflicted by the evil eye? Or it doesn't matter?
2. If it doesn't matter, can further explanation be given as to why it is used as one of the proofs to establish the position that, "used" water is still pure if one of its 3 states is not affected? |

Imaam of our Masjid is sick and can not pray standing therefore he has to pray sitting and we pray behind him standing.
Is it permissible for him to continue like this or should we get a new imaam. |
