Part 6 - The Second Principle

26)
Al Qaa'idatul thaaniyah

6.1 Some reasons for the Mushrikeen for committing shirk

27) Annahum yaqooloon

29) Illaa litalabil-qurbati wash-shafaa'ah
30) Fadaleelul-qurbati; qawluhu ta'aalaa
31) {Wallaziinattakhazuu min dunihii awliyaa. Maa na-buduhum illaa liyuqarribuu-naa ilallaahi zulfaa. Innallaaha yahkumu baynahum fii maa hum fiihi yakhtalifuun. Innallaaha laa yahdii man huwa kaazibun kaffaar.}

6.2 The Forbidden Shafaa'ah

34) Wash-shafaa'atu shafaa'ataan
35) Shafaa'atun manfeeyah, wa shafaa'atun muthbatah
36) Fash-shafaa'atul manfeeyyah
37) Maa kaanat tutlabu min ghayrillah
38) Feemaa laa yaqdiru alayhi illallaah

Part 1 - Introduction

1) I ask Allah, the Most Generous. The Lord of the mighty throne, to protect you in this world and in the hereafter.
2) And to make you blessed wherever you are and to make you from those who, when given, are thankful,
3) When tested are patient, and when sinful, seek forgiveness, for certainly, these are the three keys to happiness.

Part 2 - We have been created to worship Allah alone

4) Know may Allah guide you to His obedience, that Hanheefiyyah, the religion of Ibrahim is:
5) That you worship Allah alone making the religion sincerely for Him
6) As He, The Most High said: {And I created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me.} (51:56)

Part 3 - Worship is only worship with Tawheed

7) So when you acknowledge that Allah created you to worship Him,
8) Then know that worship is not called worship except with Tawheed.

9) Just as prayer is not called prayer except with purification;
10) So when shirk enters into worship it corrupts it,
11) Just like impurity when entered into purity

Part 4 - Shirk when mixed with worship corrupts it

12) So when you realize that shirk when it is mixed with worship it ruins it
13) And negates all the actions
14) And the one who does it is forever in the fire,
15) Then you will realize that the most important matter upon you:
16) Knowledge and awareness of this fact, so that Allah may save you from this evil trap and it is committing shirk with Allah,
17) Which Allah, The Most High, said concerning it:
18) {Verily, Allah forgives not (the sin of) setting up partners (in worship) with Him, but He forgives whom He wills} (an Nisaa 4:116)
19) And that by the knowledge and awareness of four principles which Allah, the Most High, mentioned in His book

Part 5 - The First Principle

20) The first principle
21) That you know the kuffar, who the Messenger of Allah, sallallahu alayhi wasallam fought
22) Used to affirm that Allah, The Most High, was the Creator and the Disposer of all the affairs
23) But that didn't enter them into Islam
24) And the proof is His, the Most High saying:
25)
{Say: 'Who is it that sustains you (in life) from the sky and from the earth? Or who is it that has power over hearing and sight? And who is it that brings out the living from the dead and the dead from the living? And who is it that rules and regulates all affairs?' They will soon say, 'Allah.' Say, 'Will ye not then show piety to him?'} (Yunus 10:31)

Part 6 - The Second Principle

26) The second principle

6.1 Some reasons for the Mushrikeen for committing shirk

27) That they (the Mushrikeen) say:
28) "We do not call upon and turn towards them
29) Except to seek nearness and intercession (ie with Allah)"
30) So the proof against seeking this nearness (through others) is the saying of the Most High:
31)
{But those who take for protectors others than Allah (say): 'We only serve them in order that they may bring us nearer to Allah.' Truly Allah will judge between them in that wherein they differ. But Allah guides not such as are false and ungrateful.} (az Zumar 39:3)
32) And the proof (against) intercession (through Awliyyah) is the saying of the Most High:
33) {They serve, besides Allah, what can hurt them not nor profit them, and they say: 'These are our intercessors with Allah'.} (Yunus 10:18)

6.2 The Forbidden Shafaa'ah

34) And intercession is of two types:
35) The prohibited intercession and the affirmed intercession:
36) The prohibited intercession
37) Is that which is sought from other than Allah
38) Concerning that which none is able to do, except Allaah.

Al Qaa'idatul thaaniyah

6.1 Some reasons for the Mushrikeen for committing shirk

6.2 The Forbidden Shafaa'ah

34) Wash-shafaa'atu shafaa'ataan
35) Shafaa'atun manfeeyah, wa shafaa'atun muthbatah
36) Fash-shafaa'atul manfeeyyah
37) Maa kaanat tutlabu min ghayrillah

6.3 The Affirmed Shafaa'ah

41) Wash-shafaa'atul muthbatah: hiyal-latee tutlabu min Allah,

9) Just as prayer is not called prayer except with purification;

39) And the proof is the saying of the Most High:
40)
{O ye who believe! Spend out of (the bounties) We have provided for you, before the day comes when no bargaining (will avail), nor friendship nor intercession. Those who reject faith - they are the wrong-doers.} (al Baqarah 2:254)

6.3 The Affirmed Shafaa'ah

41) And the affirmed intercession: it is that which is sought from Allah,

Part 6 - The Second Principle

26)
Al Qaa'idatul thaaniyah

6.1 Some reasons for the Mushrikeen for committing shirk

27) Annahum yaqooloon
28) Maa da 'awnaahum wa tawaj-jahnaa ilayhim
29) Illaa litalabil-qurbati wash-shafaa'ah

6.2 The Forbidden Shafaa'ah

34) Wash-shafaa'atu shafaa'ataan
35) Shafaa'atun manfeeyah, wa shafaa'atun muthbatah
36) Fash-shafaa'atul manfeeyyah
37) Maa kaanat tutlabu min ghayrillah
38) Feemaa laa yaqdiru alayhi illallaah
39) Wad-daleelu qawlubu Ta'aalaa:

6.3 The Affirmed Shafaa'ah

41) Wash-shafaa'atul muthbatah: hiyal-latee tutlabu min Allah,
42) Wash-shaafi'u mukarramun bish-shafaa'ah
43) Wal-mashfoo'u labu man radhiyallaahu qawlabu wa amalahu ba'dal 'idhu
44) Kamaa qaala Ta'laa:

9) Just as prayer is not called prayer except with purification;

41) And the affirmed intercession: it is that which is sought from Allah,
42) And the intercessor is honoured with the intercession
43) And the one interceded for, is one whom Allah is pleased with his speech and actions, after He gives permission,
44) as He, The Most High, said:

Assalaam 'Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakaatuh

AhsanAllaahu Ilaykum

There is a mistake in this week's memorised line:

Quote:
45) {Man zallazii yashta'u indahuu illaa bi'iznih?} (al Baqarah 2:255)
It should be:

Man Dhalladhee Yash-fa-`u `Indahoo illaa bi-idh-nih

Wassalaam 'Alaykum Wa Rahmatullaahi Wa Barakaatuh

Part 2 - We have been created to worship Allah alone

4) Know may Allah guide you to His obedience, that Hanheefiyyah, the religion of Ibrahim is:
5) That you worship Allah alone making the religion sincerely for Him
6) As He, The Most High said: {And I created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me.} (51:56)

Part 3 - Worship is only worship with Tawheed

7) So when you acknowledge that Allah created you to worship Him,
8) Then know that worship is not called worship except with Tawheed.

9) Just as prayer is not called prayer except with purification;

41) And the affirmed intercession: it is that which is sought from Allah,
42) And the intercessor is honoured with the intercession
43) And the one interceded for, is one whom Allah is pleased with his speech and actions, after He gives permission,
44) as He, The Most High, said:
45) {Who is there that can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth?} (al Baqarah 2:255)

Part 6 - The Second Principle

26)
Al Qaa'idatul thaaniyah

6.1 Some reasons for the Mushrikeen for committing shirk

27) Annahum yaqooloon
28) Maa da 'awnaahum wa tawaj-jahnaa ilayhim
29) Illaa litalabil-qurbati wash-shafaa'ah
30) Fadaleelul-qurbati; qawluhu ta'aalaa
31) {Wallaziinattakhazuu min dunihii awliyaa. Maa na-buduhum illaa liyuqarribuu-naa ilallaahi zulfaa. Innallaaha yahkumu baynahum fii maa hum fiihi yakhtalifuun. Innallaaha laa yahdii man huwa kaazibun kaffaar.}

6.2 The Forbidden Shafaa'ah

34) Wash-shafaa'atu shafaa'ataan
35) Shafaa'atun manfeeyah, wa shafaa'atun muthbatah
36) Fash-shafaa'atul manfeeyyah
37) Maa kaanat tutlabu min ghayrillah
38) Feemaa laa yaqdiru alayhi illallaah
39) Wad-daleelu qawlubu Ta'aalaa:
40) {Yaa 'ayyuhallazina aamanuu anfiquu mimmaa ra-zaqnaakum min qabli an ya'tiya yawmul laa bay-un-fiihi wa laa khullatoow wa laa shafaa'ah. Wal-kaafiruuna humu-zaalimuun} (al Baqarah 2:254)

6.3 The Affirmed Shafaa'ah

41) Wash-shafaa'atul muthbatah: hiyal-latee tutlabu min Allah,
42) Wash-shaafi'u mukarramun bish-shafaa'ah
43) Wal-mashfoo'u lahu man radhiyallaahu qawlabu wa amalahu ba'dal 'idhu
44) Kamaa qaala Ta'laa:
45) {Man zallazii yashfa'u indahuu illaa bi'iznih?} (al Baqarah 2:255)

Part 7 - The Third Principle

46) Al-qaa'idatuth-thaalithah
47) Annan-nabiyya sallallaahu alayhi wasallam
48) Thahara 'alaa 'unaasin mutafarriqeena fee ibaadaatihim

9) Just as prayer is not called prayer except with purification;

41) And the affirmed intercession: it is that which is sought from Allah,
42) And the intercessor is honoured with the intercession
43) And the one interceded for, is one whom Allah is pleased with his speech and actions, after He gives permission,
44) as He, The Most High, said:
45) {Who is there that can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth?} (al Baqarah 2:255)

Part 7 - The Third Principle

46) The third principle
47) That the Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wasallam
48) Encountered people differing in their forms of worship

41) And the affirmed intercession: it is that which is sought from Allah,
42) And the intercessor is honoured with the intercession
43) And the one interceded for, is one whom Allah is pleased with his speech and actions, after He gives permission,
44) as He, The Most High, said:
45) {Who is there that can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth?} (al Baqarah 2:255)

Part 7 - The Third Principle

46) The third principle
47) That the Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wasallam
48) Encountered people differing in their forms of worship
49) Among them were people who worshiped the angels,
50) And amongst them is he who worshiped the prophets and the righteous men.

47) Annan-nabiyya sallallaahu alayhi wasallam
48) Thahara 'alaa 'unaasin mutafarriqeena fee ibaadaatihim
49) Minhum may-ya budal malaa'ikah
50) Wa minhum may-ya 'budul anbiyaa'a was-saaliheen
51) Wa minhum may-ya 'budul ashjaara wal-ahjaar, wa minhum 'budush-shamsu wal-qamar

9) Just as prayer is not called prayer except with purification;

41) And the affirmed intercession: it is that which is sought from Allah,
42) And the intercessor is honoured with the intercession
43) And the one interceded for, is one whom Allah is pleased with his speech and actions, after He gives permission,
44) as He, The Most High, said:
45) {Who is there that can intercede in His presence except as He permitteth?} (al Baqarah 2:255)

Part 7 - The Third Principle

46) The third principle
47) That the Prophet, sallallaahu alayhi wasallam
48) Encountered people differing in their forms of worship
49) Among them were people who worshiped the angels,
50) And amongst them is he who worshiped the prophets and the righteous men.
51) And amongst them is he who worshiped the trees, the stones, and others who worshiped the sun and the moon
