Salamalaykum,

May Allaah bless and accept all your efforts. I am from India. If I join the Hifdh program, May I know how the timing is going to work? How the class in Wiziq is going to be? Is it going to be one to one class for revision of Qur'aan?

Please clarify. Jazzakumallaah Khayr

Fond Regards,
Umar Shariff

Brother Umar -

Laa Ba'as -you posted in the right place.

The brothers review sessions start at 4 PM EST on Saturday. India time is 10.5 hrs ahead of that I believe so it would be 2:30 AM where are you.

Inshaa'Allaah in the future we can arrange for sessions that will be at a more suitable time for brothers in your time zone. To receive updates and invites to the review sessions you can send an email to Hifdh.albaseerah@gmail.com

Asallamu alaykom wa rahmatullah,

I have the intention to memorize 2 lines from the mushaf everyday and I would like to post twice weekly. Can you send me a link where I can create a new post and see my progression?

Hayaak Allah

Default Question

bismillaah ar-Rahmaan ar-Raheem:

Assalaamu alaykum wa rahmatullaahi ta'aala wa barakaatuh:

I would like to know if there are any other available options of posting mutoon for the 'haafithoon' program. Posting texts becomes somewhat of a deterrent due to the amount of time it takes to post them, because of trying to make adjustments through the post software. Any suggestions?

Perhaps sometime in the future there will be more computer friendly post software available.

Bismillah Arrahman Arraheem

I've posted on my memorizing with transliteration of the ayat, as well as the meanings. But I was wondering is there a standard to follow for the transliteration? Also, I am willing to try to add Arabic font as described in one of the posts of the admin. But, how would we type the ayat using our keyboards? Isn't there a way to copy and paste from the mushaf? I was just thinking that might be more efficient.

Also, I'm wondering about the WizIQ classes for sisters, are they still continuing, Insha'Allah.

Jazakallah khair for all your efforts. May Allah (swt) grant all the believers success in this life and the next. Ameen.

May Allaah increase you in goodness. Alhamdulillaah, we have threads with the Arabic and english meanings that you can copy/paste into your thread. You can find the instructions for that HERE Inshaa'Allaah.

If you would like to attend hifdh review sessions for Sisters, kindly send an email to hifdh.albaseerah@gmail.com and you will be added to the invite list inshaa'Allaah.

May Allah reward you dear sister. I hope that I understand and answer your questions clearly. Posting of your hifdh progress is an ongoing process conducted by you. Insha'Allah our regular hifdh recitation review session will resume immediately after Ramadaan and these also are ongoing. We will notify everyone via email and forum announcement of the starting dates for our next Tajweed and Reading foundations courses, Insha'Allah. This announcement also will not be made until after Ramadaan, Insha'Allah.
